The laptop I checked out is asking for log in credentials when it didn't yesterday

The laptops you can check out from the Frisco Campus library should not require your campus log in ID and password after it is turned on. If it does, completely shut down the laptop then wait one minute. After that minute, power up the laptop and it should let you in to view a browser where you can then log in to CougarWeb using your campus log in ID and password. If you continue to have trouble with accessing the screen display to click on a browser icon, please call the library Circulation desk for advice (972-377-1560) or bring it in during regular business hours to check out a different laptop.

How much does it cost to print in the Frisco Campus Library?

The copier/printers at Frisco library charge:

10 cents for black and white prints.
20 cents for double-sided black and white prints.
25 cents for single side color prints
50 cents for double-sided color prints.

I returned my library books. Why are they still showing on my account?

Collin Libraries are quarantining returned items up to 5 days. Though these items may stay on your account until the quarantine period has finished, you will not accrue fines for the additional days. Where do I pick up my Holds at the Frisco Campus Library?

During the COVID-19 reduced library hours, you may pick up holds requested to be sent to Frisco Campus (Preston Ridge) from the shelves to the left of the circulation desk. They will be shelved by the patron's last name. After you retrieve your books, take them to the circulation desk to be checked out. Please place your books on the counter beside the check out terminal for the library staff member; hold out your ID so the staff member can read without holding it, and Then step back from the desk while they are being processed to ensure social distancing. Thank you!

The library does have study rooms available on a first come, first serve basis. Please go to the Circulation Desk to check out a study room.

Where is the Book Drop?

The drive up book drop is located in front of the H Building. There will be bins set up in front of the library and inside the library for patrons to place their checked out materials (especially Laptops and calculators) so they may be easily quarantined after their return.
